The Team
The POWRGARD Motorsport team has been the same team of people for over ten years. The core team members are:
- Chris Farrell - Team Owner and Driver.
- Gary Rooke - Team Manager / Pit Duties.
- Lance McInnes - Engine Specialist / Pit Duties.
- Dave Piggott - Race Preparation / Pit Duties.
- Matt Adamson - Gearbox Specialist / Pit Duties.
Although we all have other fulltime jobs, we are all very passionate about the success of the POWRGARD team. As the cars are based on the Gold Coast Queensland many thousands of kilometers are covered each year just getting the POWRGARD cars to and from race meetings.
As well as the above full time team members, we also have other valuable technical support on chassis and engines from Rodney Gibbs and Andrew Wilson.
